What's New

Cloverdale celebrates 50th Anniversary:

Cloverdale Equipment is celebrating it's 50 year anniversary in 2013. Founded in June 1963 by Ben C. Maibach Jr, Cloverdale has been privately held, employee owned, and family controlled for three generations. Today, Cloverdale is run by Ben's grandson, Todd Moilanen, and a team of experienced, dedicated professionals.

Thomas A. Moilanen, Cloverdale's Vice-President/General Manager from 1971 to 1978, President from 1978 until 2001 and a former co-owner, died on April 13, 2012 at age 67 after a long battle with renal cell carcinoma. Tom ran Cloverdale for thirty years, through some very challenging times and was instrumental in establishing our company. He transitioned Cloverdale from a one location, purely rental firm to a multi-location rental and distribution company through hard work and sheer determination. A man of strong conviction, he was not always easy to work with or for, but he always gave 110%, did the best he could with what he had to work with, and meant well.
