About Us
Cloverdale Equipment Co. is a privately held, employee owned, family controlled company that rents, sell and services construction equipment. The company operates two branches: Oak Park (metro Detroit) and Muskegon (western Michigan). From a modest beginning in 1963, Cloverdale now employs approximately fifty people, many of who are long-term employees. Cloverdale has evolved into a full service distributor representing numerous high quality manufacturers of construction equipment. From lifting cranes to small pneumatic hammers, Cloverdale continues to service a broad customer base.

In 1980, Cloverdale acquired Hasper Equipment Co. in Muskegon, MI. The acquisition of Hasper added some new manufacturers to the Cloverdale lineup. Today with these two locations, Cloverdale Equipent Co. and Cloverdale Equipment Co. of West Michigan provide coverage throughout the majority of the lower peninsula of Michigan.

During 2001, Cloverdale completed an orderly transition of operating responsibility, authority, and ownership from one generation to the next.Skytrak Today, President Todd Moilanen leads the company, along with many experienced long-term employees. The firm continues to grow each year by focusing on service to our customers.
